The Sunshine Blog Award!

Wow! Thanks to Gabrielle Angel and Autumn Sunshine, my little blog has been nominated and awarded with The Sunshine Blog Award! :)

Yaaaayyaaaaaaaaaaayaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyaaaaaayyyy! :) I am beyond happy! and it’s totally unexpected which makes it even better!

Thanks so much, guys! I think it is a great opportunity to interact a bit more with fellow bloggers, to learn new things about them and express your admiration for their work!

When I started my blog, I had little idea of what I was doing or if anyone will actually like it or read it/find something useful in it. I started it because I felt a compelling need to share the beautiful things that I was fortunate enough to see during my travels and many inspirational things and ideas that I stumbled upon through my readings and classes with the rest of the world. I felt, and still feel, very, very very blessed because of them and I just wanted to give that forward.

I also wanted to share good, positive and hopeful things with the others! Especially since nowadays, we are being bombarded in the media with so much negativity! But there still are good things and good people out there! Actually, there’s plenty of them, MORE than all the negativity we think and feel around us. The thing is that usually, the impact of the negative situations is stronger and has deeper consequences for our well being whilst the positive and hopeful things may get unnoticed, even though numerically, they are far more. Therefore, we need more positive thoughts, actions and deeds to counter balance it.

Anyway, getting back to the award! :D
